Identified - We have identified an issue that is not allowing our customers to buy and sell FTM cryptocurrency when using the Instant buy and sell feature on your Luno app.

Customers will not see the Buy or Sell button when viewing FTM cryptocurrency.

Buying and selling FTM on the Exchange remains unaffected.

Our team is working on this as a priority.

Update - The ability to scan QR codes in the Luno app remains unavailable for both Android and iOS. We are diligently working to resolve this issue and restore functionality as soon as possible

In the meantime, please use the following alternatives:

Scan the QR code with your camera or QR code reader app, selecting the Luno app if prompted and you will be directed to Web to use the Send flow.

Manually copy-and-pasting all details, being sure the full address, amount and any other additional information is correct before confirming the send

Identified - Customers going through the send flow on Android and iOS are unable to scan QR codes which would automatically fill in the address, amount and other information.

While our team works to resolve this, manually copy and pasting the required details will work.

Identified - The 18.04.2025 and 21.04.2025 is a public holiday, during which banks do not process payments. This means any withdrawals from Luno that we send to the banks won’t be processed until the 22.04.2025

Please note that this only applies to Fiat withdrawals. Crypto withdrawals will be processing as normal according to our service level agreements.
